The NRC Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (NRC-CISTI) Gateway to Scientific Data provides central access to Canadian scientific, technical and medical (STM) data sets and other important data repositories, as well as links to selected policies and best practices guiding data management and curation activities in Canada.

Data Activities in Canada

This report on data activities in Canada is prepared biennially by the Canadian National Committee for CODATA (CNC/CODATA) in conjunction with the General Assembly of CODATA. (CODATA is the Committee on Data for Science and Technology of the International Council for Science (ICSU)).
